A massive thank you to everyone who was able to make it to the last Games Night of Semester 2, 2021 - it was wonderful to get such a large turn out despite it being a very busy time in the semester. Unlike the usual Games Nights, we decided to add a bit of Halloween spirit by holding a small cosplay competition with prizes from the manga box that has been gathering dust. Congratulations to Max, Nick and Jono for winning the Exec Pick, Spookiest Costume, and People's Choice categories!
We hope everyone enjoyed this fun evening and we wish you luck in your upcoming exams! If you do decide you need a break from exams though...

As seen in the meeting summaries from this week, we've got a fair few events planned after exams are over. First and foremost, the event everyone's been asking about - EoS Dinner. The plan this year is to have a Saturday BBQ by the pool so we can make the best use of the weather, our resources, and be able to engage more with everyone involved. We are still looking into the finer details, so keep an eye out for announcements.
If you thought that you were done with SMACK for the year - oh boy, do we have news for you! Over the holidays, we are planning on having a collaboration with the Chess Club (details tbd), a collaboration with QUGS (details tbd), Gunpla Workshop IV (details tbd), and the much loved Beach Trip (details tbd). Another thing to look forward to during the holidays are various art competitions - get those drawing tools ready!
