2023 SMASH Sydney Camp Hello! We are Anime Australia! (or AniAus for short), a collaboration of almost every university anime society across Australia, organizing massive social events for university students all across Australia to join! Once again we're bringing back our flagship event for 2023, the SMASH Sydney Camp! Taking place from the 27th to the 2nd of July, join us for a week of exciting events and incredible atmosphere, before attending Australia's largest anime convention, SMASH!
Some activities you can expect are Shoukugeki (food competitions), city tours, lots of group activities such as karaoke, and much more! Event details:
When: 27th to the 2nd of July, 2023
Where: Sydney! (accommodation will be at the Sydney Central YHA)
Costs: Approximately $350 (subject to change), inclusive of 5 nights accommodation and daily breakfast, and AniAus events

What are the location and dates of the camp?
The SMASH Sydney Camp will be taking place in Sydney from the 27th to the 2nd of July, 2023. The Camp will cumulate in the SMASH Sydney Convention, taking place on the 1st and 2nd of July.
Why is the camp a week long?
While the SMASH Convention is the main event, AniAus is aiming to create a social collaborative environment for members of AniAus all across Australia! There will be many social events planned, such as the classic touristy things, cooking events, city tours, competitions, and much more!
Who can attend the camp?
This camp can be attended by any member of a university anime society affiliated with Anime Australia, and attendees must be aged 18+ , with double vaccinations .
How much is the camp?
The camp will cost approximately $350 (subject to change). This is inclusive of 5 nights at the Sydney Central YHA, and free breakfast! However, this is not inclusive of transportation to and within Sydney, prices for events, food, and the individual SMASH ticket.
